| Murray Hill, New Jersey, U.S. September 22, 2008 -– Linde North America will hold a grand opening celebration on October 1 for its newest air separation plant, located in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Linde North America is a member of The Linde Group, a leading gases and engineering company. The Beloit plant separates air cryogenically to produce over 700 tons a day of liquid oxygen and nitrogen. The oxygen and nitrogen is then trucked to hospitals, food processors, metals and chemicals manufacturers and independent gases distributors in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.
Media are invited to attend the event, which will begin at 10 a.m. with plant tours and cryogenic demonstrations. Opening ceremonies, including a ribbon cutting, will start at 11 a.m. Linde’s plant is located at 4220 South Walters Road in Beloit.
This is Linde’s largest plant in Wisconsin, employing some 30 people. Linde has a nationwide network of air separation plants from which it serves customers ranging in size from small family businesses to multi-billion dollar corporations.

John MacRitchie, Midwest market vice president, Linde North America, says Linde worked closely with representatives from the local community, such as the Greater Beloit Economic Development Corporation, to select a suitable location for the plant.
