Linde can either manage or help you manage your bulk gas inventory. Using tank telemetry units, we can receive accurate, up-to-the-minute information on your product level and consumption pattern. We can then dispatch trucks to refill your tank on a 7 day by 24 hour basis. This technology and accompanying service helps you avoid running out of product.
Another way to manage bulk gas inventory, is for the customer to manually read their tank level. This is done in the absence of a telemetry unit and the customer must always remember to call when the level reaches the reorder point. The tank will then be replenished. Linde's central dispatch service tries to help these customers by outbound calling them when it is believed that the tank may be getting low. But this system is certainly not as simple or easy as having a telemetry unit in place. You can discuss your interest in using a telemetry system with your sales representative.
To be replenished with bulk product, customers must notify our dispatchers with their low product level via one of two ways. This notification could be automated using a telemetry unit or they can phone the Linde National Operations Center in Bethlehem, PA in the U.S. . |
